One of Ontario’s few campgrounds located directly on the shore of Georgian Bay with more than 100 fully serviced sites,including waterfreont sites. This picturesque park boasts 468 metres of sandy shoreline, a picnic area, playground and a snack bar. There is also a miniature golf course, woodland trails and a dedicated dog beach with leash-free park close by. All campsites are either on Georgian Bay or a very short walk from Memorial Park’s very own public beach.

Ship Building and Shipwrecks – Craigleith
For more than 103 years, Collingwood built lake freighters, corvettes, minesweepers, barges, ferries, icebreakers — anything that could sail on the Great Lakes and beyond. All of the ships were all launched sideways into the harbour. More information on Collingwood’s rich marine heritage can be found at the Collingwood Museum, on #26 Highway in Collingwood, just south of the Harbourlands Park. Take a guided boat cruise with SummerBound out of the Collingwood Harbour and learn more. Visit Wasaga Beach’s Nancy Island to view the preserved schooner, “The Nancy” from the War of 1812 and learn more at the Wasaga under Siege War re-enactment. Travel to Craigleith and visit Northwinds Beach. Paddle to the Mary Ward Ship Wreck with Eagle Adventures or Free Spirit Tours. Learn more about the Mary Ward at the Craigleith Heritage Depot, just south of the Northwinds Beach area.

Sunset Point Park, Collingwood & Nottawasaga Lighthouse – Collingwood
One of the best places in South Georgian Bay to simply relax and watch a breathtaking sunset. Watch as the kite-boarders and windsurfers catch some air, bike or walk along the beautiful shoreline paths. Take in the incredible views of the Nottawasaga Lighthouse. The lighthouse, constructed in 1855-59, is one of the most historic structures on the Great Lakes. Sunset Point is on Georgian Bay, just off the Pretty River Parkway at the east end of Collingwood.
